Alejandro G. Casas, Esq.
Alejandro (Alex) G. Casas is the son of immigrants who fled Cuba to start a new and promising life in The United States. As a first-generation American, he grew up in Palm Beach County and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. In 1991, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law. During his law studies, he was a member of the Law Review and served as an Associate Editor. Casas, who speaks Spanish fluently, was also the President of the Spanish American Law Students Association.
Casas began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office in 1998, Casas began practicing civil litigation, focusing on personal injury matters by representing the interests of injured victims and their families. Since then, Casas has successfully resolved numerous cases in excess of one million dollars. Casas married his wife, Susie, in 1991 and they have two daughters, Cristina and Cecilia.

Nicholas M. Sarta, Esq.
Nicholas was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from City University of New York, Brooklyn College with a B.A. in English. He then attended New York Law School where he earned his J.D. Degree while working at personal injury and criminal defense firms.
After graduating from law school, Nicholas established a firm where he was involved in the successful resolution and litigation of hundreds of cases including automobile accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, toxic torts, and violations of civil rights. Over an 8-year period, he was able to obtain many favorable outcomes and generous awards for his New York and New Jersey clients.
During his time in New York, Nicholas was a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association, and the Columbian Lawyers Association. He was featured in VerdictSearch’s Top New York Settlements of 2015 for successfully representing an injured bicyclist, Verdicts and Settlements Hall of Fame of 2015 for successfully representing an injured pedestrian and was also honored with Schnepps Communications’ “Rising Stars of 2015” award.
Nicholas relocated to Florida in 2019 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in September of that year.

Susie Casas
When Alex opened Casas Law in 2018, his wife, Susie, was the natural choice to keep the new firm’s books. After 9 months of maintaining their accounting records in addition to her full-time position at a Wellington CPA firm, Susie officially joined Casas Law in 2019 as its Controller, handling all financial aspects of the practice. Susie’s professional experience began in the Miami office of Price Waterhouse in 1990, following her graduation from Florida State University with a BS in Accounting. She was licensed as a Florida Certified Public Accountant in 1992 and has worked in both public and private accounting during her 30+ year career. A third generation native Floridian, Susie enjoys spending time with their daughters and pets, as well as planning the family’s next vacation (usually to a cooler climate!).

Melissa Meza-Rapp
Melissa Meza-Rapp is a Colombian/Venezuelan native. She emigrated to the United States in 2002 from Caracas, Venezuela after two years of law school, escaping almost a decade of civil unrest. In Florida she started a career as an Executive Assistant and Human Resource Manager that spanned over 17 years. She is currently a Legal Assistant to Alejandro Casas and his paralegal, Dalila, providing pre-litigation and litigation support. Melissa is fluent in both English and Spanish. Melissa married her husband, Curt, in 2009 and they share a home with their dog, Zoey, and cat, Max. Melissa is an avid traveler who spends her free time researching her next vacation spot, reading voraciously, and learning Korean. -
Dalila Livia Serna
Dalila Livia Serna is a Mexican-American born and raised in Palm Beach County, and mom to a 13-year-old son, Adrian Mekhi Robinson. She is a part-time student at Palm Beach State College pursuing her BA in Business Accounting and aspires to become a lawyer. Dalila began working in the legal field as a receptionist straight out of high school and over the past 20 years has worked her way up to her current position as a paralegal. Dalila is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has a passion to assist all clients in knowing their rights and understanding how she can help each case move toward resolution, always doing her best to ensure that clients are happy and satisfied. Dalila enjoys spending quality time with her son, family, friends and pets (1 dog, 2 cats). She’s a nature lover who enjoys the beach, full moons, mountains and beautiful weather. Her hobbies include knitting and reading self-motivational books.

Martha “Marty” Massung, Office Receptionist
Martha “MARTY” Massung was born in Gardner, Massachusetts of Finnish-American descent. She grew up in Palm Beach County, graduated from Lake Worth High School, and attended Palm Beach Community College.
Marty has 23 years of experience in banking and investments. She also has 29 years ‘ experience in the legal profession working as a Receptionist/Administrative assistant. Marty is also the founding member of Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc.
Her daughter is a recent nursing graduate and is currently employed with Florida Heart and Vascular Care.
Marty enjoys watching documentaries, classic moves, and antique road shows. She also enjoys spending her free time reading and in bible study.
Marty loves animals and currently resides in Greenacres with her fur baby cat, Fiona Grace.
